Our previous riders have raised almost USD700 000 through this initiative. The hospital, which was bare land 7 years ago & the dream of a passionate crusader for the Cambodian people -  Janne Ritskes; will open its doors in early 2019.  Donors from across the world have contributed over USD6 000 000 has been raised to build Nokor Tep which will provide free or minimal cost care to the women of Cambodia.

The vision is to have a women’s hospital that is focused ongynaecological issues & women’s cancers to alleviate the silent suffering of the vast majority of women in Cambodia.

This year we are riding from Thailand to Cambodia and on to Vietnam on road bikes-1250 km and 6634m of elevation.

We plan to have 2 teams of riders* – a faster group capable of averaging 28-32 km/hr rolling speed over the distance & another group capable of averaging 22-25 km/hr. Each group will have full support.

We have 3 ride options:

•  9 days of riding - 1225 km (whole route 28/10 - 05/11)
• 7 days of riding - 986 km (Bangkok to Phnom Penh 28/10 - 3/11)
•  3 days of riding - 252 km (Phnom Penh to Saigon 03/11 - 05/11)

• Experienced English speaking guides
• Full Support Crew and van (mechanical issues with bikes, punctures, cleaning, basic servicing). You just bring spares :tubes etc.
• Air-conditioned coach following the riders with support crew on board
• Airport arrival and departure transfers
• 1 paramedic in each country
• A motorcyclist to ride the line
• Water, soft drinks, sports drinks & snacks whilst cycling
• A defibrillator

*Subject to there being sufficient riders to warrant splitting the ride into 2 teams. A single team will result in a reduction in cost which all riders will benefit from.
